Found a set of shades in the woods today, and placed them on a nearby tree with suitable girth. The temptation to find a tree with a nose-like stub was compelling, however, this would have meant a deviation from the path and less chance of the owner spotting them.
Other notable moments today mostly involved the appreciation of nature. Various fungus, woodland flowers, and glossy vibrant red berries.
A fellow dog walker remarked that she’d recently been stung by a wasp that was nesting in the ground nearby the ‘kissing gate’.
